A Pet Cup Thermoforming Machine is a specialized type of plastic manufacturing equipment designed for the high-volume production of disposable containers,

primarily cups, from PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) sheets. It utilizes the thermoforming process to create consistent, durable, 

and food-safe packaging products widely used in the beverage, dairy, and food service industries.

How It Works: The Thermoforming Process

The operation of a pet cup thermoforming machine can be broken down into several continuous, automated stages:

Sheet Unwinding & Feeding: A roll of pre-extruded PET plastic sheet is loaded onto an unwind stand. 

The machine automatically feeds the sheet into the heating station at a controlled, intermittent pace.

Heating: The PET sheet passes through an oven section with ceramic infrared heaters. 

These heaters soften the plastic to a precise, pliable temperature without burning it, making it ready for forming.

Forming: The heated sheet is transferred into the forming station. Here, a mold (a negative impression of the cup) closes.

Using a combination of plug assistance (a mechanical plug that pre-stretches the material) and air pressure (pneumatic forming) , 

the soft plastic is forced into the shape of the mold cavities, creating multiple cups simultaneously.
